Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the Pricey team ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Pricey Discord bot and its web dashboard (together, the "Service"). We only collect what we need to make the Service work. By using Pricey, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

What we collect depends on how you interact with the Service:

Who	What we collect
Anyone who opens a ticket	Discord user ID and username. Answers to any questions the server owner has configured (free text, numbers, uploaded images, or mentioned Discord users). The selected currency, product, or custom amount. Chosen payment method, transaction reference, notes, and any screenshot uploaded as proof of payment.
Dashboard users (server admins)	Discord user ID, username, avatar, and the list of servers where you hold administrative permissions — retrieved through Discord's OAuth2 when you log in. All bot settings you configure: ticket category, staff role, log channels, embed colors, custom messages, emojis, payment methods, payment account details (PayPal emails, crypto wallet addresses, account numbers, usernames), currency lists with exchange rates, purchase panels, product lists, coupon codes, and questions.
Ticket transcripts	When a ticket is closed, approved, rejected, or refunded, the bot stores a transcript of the last 150 messages in that channel — including each message's author, content, and timestamp. Transcripts are tied to the ticket record and the server. Full message content including attachment links is also saved to the server's log channel as a downloadable text file.
Technical data	Server logs needed to keep the bot running: timestamps, error messages, and the list of Discord servers the bot is in.

Pricey has no payment processing capability. We do not connect to banks, card networks, PayPal, crypto exchanges, or any payment gateway. We never handle money. All payments happen directly between the buyer and the seller outside of Pricey. We do not collect credit card numbers, bank login credentials, or cryptocurrency private keys. Payment proof (such as transfer screenshots) is uploaded voluntarily by buyers and is visible to the server's staff and stored as part of the ticket record.

We do not collect or store your Discord password. Authentication is handled entirely by Discord's OAuth2 system.

3. How We Use Information

• To run the Service — creating tickets, calculating prices, displaying payment instructions, recording answers, generating transcripts, and posting panels to Discord channels.
• To authenticate dashboard users — verifying your identity through Discord and showing you the servers you manage.
• To let server owners customize the bot — storing the settings, panels, products, coupons, and payment accounts you configure.
• To support dispute resolution — ticket transcripts and payment proof let staff review what happened in a transaction.
• To moderate abuse — recording bans, suspensions, blacklists, and admin actions to prevent misuse of the Service.
• To maintain and debug the Service — technical logs help us identify and fix issues.

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell personal data to anyone.

4. Data Storage & Retention

All data is stored as JSON files on the infrastructure that hosts the bot, organized by Discord server (guild). There is no automatic expiration — data persists until it is manually deleted.

When Pricey is removed from a server, the stored files remain on disk but are no longer actively used. They are not deleted automatically.

The bot operator can delete stored ticket data for individual users through the admin panel. Server owners can delete or modify their own configuration, panels, and ticket data through the dashboard. If you need data removed and cannot do it yourself, you can contact us and we will handle it on a case-by-case basis.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent personal data. We may share information only in these situations:

• With Discord — as needed for bot operations and OAuth2 authentication, subject to Discord's own Privacy Policy.
• Within a server — ticket contents and configuration are visible to that server's staff and administrators, as set up by the server owner.
• For legal reasons — if required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud.
• With infrastructure providers — the hosting and storage providers that run the Service, under confidentiality obligations.

6. Moderation Data

Pricey stores moderation records to enforce bans, suspensions, and blacklists across the Service:

• Global bans — user ID, reason, who issued the ban, when it was issued, and whether it has an expiration date. Permanent bans persist indefinitely until manually removed.
• Global suspensions — same fields, but always time-limited. Expired suspensions are no longer enforced but remain in the log.
• Per-server blacklists — user ID, reason, and timestamp, stored in the server's own configuration.
• Admin action log — a record of moderation actions taken through the admin panel (bans, suspensions, data deletions), including the admin's ID, the target user, the reason, and the timestamp. Capped at 2,000 entries.

This data is accessible to the bot operator and, for server-level blacklists, to the server owner through the dashboard.

7. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the data we store: restricted access to hosting infrastructure, secure session handling for the dashboard, and internal API authentication between the bot and the server. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that data will never be accessed by unauthorized parties.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Here is how you can exercise those rights through the Service:

• View your data — open a ticket and ask staff, or contact us directly.
• Delete your data — the bot operator can delete stored ticket data for any user through the admin panel. Server owners can manage their own server's data through the dashboard.
• Stop data collection — removing Pricey from a server stops any new data collection for that server. Existing stored data is not automatically removed when the bot leaves (see Section 4).
• Delete your messages — you can delete your own messages inside a ticket channel where Discord permits it.

To request data removal that you cannot perform yourself, contact us through our support server. We handle requests on a case-by-case basis.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is designed for users who meet Discord's minimum age requirement (currently 13, or higher where local law requires). We do not knowingly collect data from children below this age. If we discover that we have, we will make reasonable efforts to remove it promptly.

10. Cookies & Sessions

The web dashboard uses a single session cookie (connect.sid) to keep you logged in after authenticating with Discord. It is:

• httpOnly — inaccessible to JavaScript on the page.
• Set to expire after 7 days, after which you will need to log in again.
• Used only for authentication — we do not use it for tracking, analytics, or advertising.

The dashboard loads fonts from Google Fonts (Syne and DM Sans). Google may receive standard web request data (IP address, browser type) when these fonts are loaded, subject to Google's own privacy policy.

11. Discord & Payment Providers

Your use of Discord is governed by Discord's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Pricey operates on top of Discord's platform and is subject to Discord's data practices.

When a server owner configures payment methods, the actual payment happens entirely outside Pricey, directly between the buyer and the seller through the chosen provider. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of those payment providers.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
